RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 8, 2008) – The deadline for registration for the 64th Annual Raleigh Christmas Parade is Sept. 15. The parade, presented by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association (GRMA), will be held on Nov. 22 in downtown Raleigh.

GEORGE YORK has been named Executive Vice President of York Properties. Hal Worth has been named President and Chief Investment Officer for the company. Company Chairman Smedes York made the announcement of the changes, which are effective as of December 2006. Smedes York had been Chairman and President and Worth was formerly Executive Vice President. Smedes York will retain the title of chairman.
